If I save something on a library laptop, will it still be there for me when I check it out again?

No, library department staff cannot guarantee that any files saved to a library/resource center laptop will still be on the laptop the next time it is checked out. All student laptops are public access so anyone can add and remove files. Laptops are updated and cleaned periodically by the IT Department and library department staff.
We recommend that you save files to a jump drive, upload to a cloud account, or email them to yourself instead of storing them on a library laptop.
