Are there any items that the library is unable to request from other libraries through interlibrary loan?

Answer

Many libraries will not lend items from their reference collections, bound periodicals, recent issues or volumes of journals or newspapers, textbooks, rare books, unpublished works, or audiovisual materials. Each lending library’s rules are unique. The ILL Department will do its best to locate a lender for requested items. Due to copyright restrictions, the library cannot interlibrary loan copies of course textbooks or required reading material.
