Does it cost anything to request an interlibrary loan?

The library is able to fill many ILL requests for free. When an item comes with a cost, the library will fund up to $20 of each student ILL request. If the cost exceeds $20, the student will be notified and asked how to proceed, as the balance must be paid by the student. Costs for faculty are waived, but if an item has a high cost, we may suggest purchasing that item for the library’s permanent collection.
